The Tempest Trailer

Here is the new trailer for the latest adaptation for The Tempest. It has a super-heavyweight cast and the trailer looks mighty fine, I’m just not entirely sure it’s my cup of tea. And as for the last 30 seconds – what the hell happened there? Reminds me of the opening credits of an 80’s TV show like TJ Hooker or The A-Team…

Synopsis:
In her big-screen adaptation of Shakespeare’s mystical thriller “The Tempest,” Academy Award(R)-nominated Julie Taymor (“Across the Universe,” “Frida,” “Titus”) brings an original dynamic to the story by changing the gender of the sorcerer Prospero into the sorceress Prospera, portrayed by Oscar(R) winner Helen Mirren (“The Queen”).
