Hey guys, so here we have the first trailer for Predators, yeah we’ve covered the subject quite a bit this last couple of weeks, but with good reason -- this looks like the sequel that we’ve always wanted to the original.
Set on (what is believed to be) the Predators home world, a random group of people with varying degrees of sociopathic tendencies are forced to work together as they are pitted against the galaxy’s deadliest hunters -- the Predators (but like the one from the first one, not from the AvP franchise!). So this is all looking good, although I have a couple of concerns the first being the jungle setting gives a feel that seems a little too much like the original -- I hope that this is more of a hat-tip to the original and that only the first act takes place there. The second thing that bothers me is that Predator type dog thing that I keep seeing… hmmm.
Anyway, Predators is directed by Nimord Antal (not Robert Rodriguez as a lot of people believe, he is producing) and hits cinemas in July.
