Ok, so there was a trailer released for this last week which we didn’t post because we got wind of a slightly extended version that was coming this week. So here it is…
Honestly not sure if this is a remake or a further sequel in the Piranha series, in any case the film is directed by Alexandre Aja who brought us The Hills Have Eyes remake – which I thought was very respectable. It would seem the “music” from THHE has followed him to this film also.
So, impressions – well, beyond the crap CG fish, I can’t wait to see Christopher Lloyd doing what he does best – playing kooky science type guys! “This particular piranha vanished 2 million years ago!!!” Surely the new “One point twenty-one gigawatts!”?
