Arguably the best animated film Disney has ever created (in my opinion it is anyway), fuck Snow White and fuck Lion King -- Belle is the bomb! I was nine when this came out and was completely blown away. I can’t really describe the feeling I had when I first watched it… the animation, the sound (Beasts howling terrified me), the score, the way Disney first integrated CG with the animation in that ballroom scene… probably all of these things really. It changed cinema and blew me away the way Jurassic Park did two years later.
Anyways, before I’m in danger of turning too sloppy and morphing into Chris… Beauty and the Beast is being upgraded to high definition Blu Ray 3D and will be heading to all good stores November 1st 2010. Check out the new trailer below.

this was a visual amazement no fluek with pixars involvement and by that was always going to be a classic… do not shit on the originals my beautiful critique…. yes bell may be the brid you find in a nightclub that everyone looks at… snow white is the untouchable in the high class brazerie…
