Did you ever hear the one about an original, frightening film with a genuine “didn’t see that coming” twist at the end? Then they went and made sequel after sequel gradually watering down the whole concept. But, in a diminishing sequel defying act managed to coax back the original star and a whole load of other past characters in an attempt to bring the story full circle, give it a satisfying climax and bring a true finality to the series – not only that, but upped production costs by filming it all using the most state of the art 3D camera’s currently in production?
And then go and ruin it all by releasing one of the shittest, cheesiest trailers ever created by man.
I mean really.
