Underworld in Space... in 3D!

I hope this is bullshit, but Variety is reporting that Len Wiseman is set to direct the next (Fourth) instalment in the Underworld franchise in 3D –  and will be set in space. Fucking space. Fucking Vampires and Werewolves in Fucking space. What a bag of shit. Wiseman didn’t direct the last one (Rise of the Lycans), not sure why – I assumed it was due to prevailing sense. Obviously not!

In a related story, Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Kate Beckinsale may return to the franchise, but may not be pleased about it:

“sources tell us she’s trying to find a way out of the film — or at least have a smaller role in order to “pass the torch” to one of her kindred (yes, she has not one, but two daughters at this point).”

Anyone know why she would have been able to duck out of Underworld 3, but not for Underworld 4?

In space sounds shit. In 3D, specifically Kate Beckinsale in 3D sounds awesome!!!!
