Thirlby, who’s biggest hit to date has been a role in Juno, will play the rookie judge who is also blessed with psychic abilities, who later (in the comic series) goes on to lead the Mega City One’s Psi Division. The film is directed by Pete Travis from a script by Alex Garland and although it features the same lead character, it has no connection to the 1995 Sly Stallone version of Judge Dredd. Which I like.
