Following yesterday’s news, yet more Predators info has emerged over at Latino Review. They have had had a sneaky peaky at the fast tracked script and have a video for you to check out, but here are a few of the details:
The main human character is a guy called Royce (a bit of a bad ass) who is kidnapped and taken to the giant jungle-like Predator home world where he meets up with seven other humans (also bad asses) who have also been abducted. They quickly realise they are the prey. Brief details of the others:
- Cuchillo A Mexican enforcer from the drug cartel, who is Danny Trejo’s character.
- A Russian named Nikolai with a four barrel gas powered rotary machine gun….close to The Body’s weapon.
- The token female role goes to Isabelle, a “tough as nails” lady who can speak French and carries a sniper rifle.
- A possible skin head convict, who is armed only with a prison made knife, is also in the group.
- Plus a Japanese enforcer who appears to be carrying a samurai sword,
- a member of the Sierra Leone death squad,
- and a small “unassuming” man named Edwin who was on the FBI’s most wanted list.
Theres loads more info over at Latino Review and it sounds really good, and listen out for the news of a surprise cameo. I’m really looking forward to this – but we all know how Fox like to fuck up perfectly good ideas!
Predators is set for a July 2010 release.
