Hey guys, there seems to be a influx of Mel Gibson related news lately and while I think he’s a good director (I think ‘The Man without a Face’ gets overlooked far to often when looking through his catalogue of work) I think we’ve all missed him on film. Slashfilm.com is reporting that Shane Black – writer of the ‘Lethal Weapon’ films and director of the awesome ‘Kiss, Kiss Bang, Bang’, is set to direct a new feature about a Cold War spy who emerges from retirement to take on a new threat from Russia (poor Russians never seem to get a break from being the villains!). Mel Gibson is in negations for the lead role! I don’t know about you, but I’m actually getting all excited…
