Woah, Woah, Woa…. “That’s English for stop a horse!” Slashfilm are reporting that Vincenzo Natali the director of the soon to be released Splice, is set to direct William Gibson’s Neuromancer (which is pretty much the Cyberpunk bible). Neuromancer has been in development hell for what seems like the best part of two decades, now news has resurfaced, and it looks as though Natali will be helming the project. Hopefully this time, it will see the light of day and will not be stuck on the shelf as studio heads try and fathom how to bring the complex novel to the silver screen. More news as it surfaces, but how important is Neuromancer?? No Neuromancer, no Matrix it’s that simple!
