Comingsoon.net has an exclusive interview with Vincent Cassel, who, whilst promoting the U.S. release of the excellent Mesrine films, talks about the follow up David Cronenberg’s 2007 Russian Gangster thriller Eastern Promises. Cassel confirms that Viggo Mortensen is also on board for the sequel which is planned to shoot a little further away from the original’s London setting.
“We talked very seriously about ‘Eastern Promises 2′ and it’s going to be shot in Russia with Viggo and myself,” he told the site.
