Keanu Reeves is renowned for being more wooden than a wooden thing made of wood when it comes to interviews, that aint a knock on the guy, he obviously just doesn’t get a kick out of doing the press-rounds. So when he was asked on the red carpet at the Oscars whether there would be another Bill & Ted adventure, Reeves says with a wry smile “I’m trying, I’m trying” and when asked if he was joking he said “I’m not”.
So who knows? Two things that I’m glad about here: first that Keanu still gets to walk the red carpet at the Oscars – God bless! Second, a new Bill & Ted would be great!! The original films centered on a pair of time travelling heavy metal fans, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was released in 1989 and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey was out in 1991.
No doubt if a third outing does come about, it will be in 3D and star Sam Worthington.
