So maybe you’ve read lots of stories across the Information Super-Highway about various people being attached to the recently announced Spiderman reboot? And maybe you’re wondering why filmtwats haven’t been covering the stories? Sure, there have been rumours of Michael Bay and Jim Cameron taking up the director’s chair and that Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame and Michael Cera from Superbad are both in the running to don the spandex tights of everyone’s favourite webslinger. But the truth is that at the moment, no-one actually knows anything for certain about the Spiderman reboot so we could be posting new articles about the subject and other various rumours every other hour right now.
The other fact of the matter is although the idea of the series having a reboot so soon has peaked our collective interests, we’re not really that arsed! I’ve never shied away from the fact that I dislike the Spiderman franchise, it isn’t just the film, I don’t like the character or the story lines that much – although Spidey does have some great villains.
What has surprised me more so is that I’m starting to see more and more people on forums voiceing their disapproval of how the movies have been handled – not just Spidey 3 (that would be an easy target!), but Spidey 1 & 2 too! It baffles me that if they’re so disliked, why (or how) have they made so much money? Maybe I’m just looking on the misery-ass fanboy forums. Who knows!

For me I think I didn’t like them because of Toby?? I mean really he is so shit! I watched his new film brothers that is a runner for a Oscar and yet again he is shiiiiiiiit! I mean I know it’s not easy acting but think he is better in things like sea biscuit not super hero!! It’s a funny one really cos I did think they where all ok and I ever went out and bought them…….I just wanted them to be more???? Sorry to dis spidey!
