The official synopsis is “An explosive action tale of betrayal and revenge, “The Losers” centers around the members of an elite Special Forces unit sent to the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. But the team—Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar—soon find that they have become the target of a deadly double cross, instigated from the inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max. Making good use of the fact that they are now presumed dead, the group goes deeply undercover in a dangerous plot to clear their names and even the score with Max. They are joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda, who is more than capable of scoring a few points of her own. Working together, when they’re not arguing amongst themselves, they have to stay one step ahead of the globetrotting Max—a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war for his own benefit. If they can take down Max and save the world at the same time, it’ll be a win win for the team now known as The Losers.”

The Losers features Stringer Bell (Idris Elba), Chris Evans, Jeffery Dean Morgan and Jason Patrick and just in case you manage to miss it… it’s released 24^th April.

So when he was asked on the red carpet at the Oscars whether there would be another Bill & Ted adventure, Reeves says with a wry smile “I’m trying, I’m trying” and when asked if he was joking he said “I’m not”.

So who knows? Two things that I’m glad about here: first that Keanu still gets to walk the red carpet at the Oscars – God bless! Second, a new Bill & Ted would be great!! The original films centered on a pair of time travelling heavy metal fans, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was released in 1989 and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey was out in 1991.

No doubt if a third outing does come about, it will be in 3D and star Sam Worthington.

As regular readers will know the filmtwats team are very much looking forward to the arrival of Tron Legacy in December, we love the test footage from Comic-Con yonks ago – well late last night the first official trailer arrived and it’s… well, ok I guess? Clearly no more than an extended teaser, the trailer doesn’t show us a great deal, a hint at the story, a hint of the effects – what you do see is very impressive indeed – I’d like to highlight the frame at 1:38minutes, yeah that’s Jeff Bridges – but how young does he look!?! McG – that’s how you do it my friend – not the shite job you did with Arnold-minator in T: Shitvation!
