U.S. cinema chain, Cinemark, is believed to have removed the Paranormal Activity 2 teaser trailer from prints of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse as the viewers were that scared they complained. The film only started screening at midnight last night for fuck sake – why weren’t all those kids in bed anyway!?!?
Cinemark has told Paramount that more theatres could pull the trailer if there are more complaints and has also pulled it from the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows promo.
Yep, you read right.
Now I have a theory as to why this happened:
1. Because all Twilight fans are between the ages of 10 and 12 and scare easily.
2. Or because all Twilight fans are pussies.
Granted it may not be a very scientific theory, however my conclusion is that it is due to number 2.
Sorry Twilight fans but really, being scared by a film is one thing, but being so scared by a trailer that it gets removed from future screenings? Come on.

or maybe…… being a twilight fan myself I have the theory that one person has complained and this has given the media a reason to over-react and come up with a new story! As for putting paranormal activity 2 as one of the trailers, well the first one wasn’t that great anyway as they included the uk ending not the american ending so I don’t think we’re missing that much anyway.

Twilight is shit. End of. I dont hate it because it is classed as a chick flick, I hate it because it is boring. The first one was not too bad, but also a fine example of “Oh my god it is so amazing as I fancy the pants of Robert what-ever-his-name is” But on the flip side, it was toss?? A good looking person does not make a film amazing! The second one, dont even get me started, VERY VERY BORING & POINTLESS! I even heard someone say “Oh my, the special effects are amazing” Sorry, they were rushed and dreadful……….. And they look just as toss in the new one (I have heard the new one will also contain what looks like 7 year olds on steroids AKA the worst looking twatting wolf pack ever)

Paranormal Activity is wasted on a bunch off teen’s or people who have no fucking idea about genuinely good film making. Fair do’s, not a lot of people liked PA. Why? Because it was not high in budget and was basically a home made movie (I loved it as with what little budget Oren had, he made the most of it and fucked with your imagination and “things what go bump in the night” quote)
Stephanie Myer has been slated by many many film makers and authors as her writing is appauling. I think this clearly shows in the films (and the wooden acting doesnt help)

Well I think that comment has just summed up exactly the reason why you are not the next Johnathon Ross! First of all twilight fans don’t just go because of Robert Pattinson and second of all, if you can’t appreciate a good book, I suggest you stick to reading ladybird books and leaving the hard stuff to the twilight fans
Stephanie Meyer is a creative writer and has created a new genre for the vampire movies, I don’t see that just because you think the acting is wooden can be linked in anyway to the books themselves! Come on?? Say what you want about the actors but unless you’ve read the books, you would miss a million reasons for the way the characters act in the movie! (not that I would expect you to waste your time)
Also just because a film is low budget doesn’t automatically make it great and if you would have read the earlier comment I mentioned that the let down was the ending, you would have realise that this is just another film-maker trying to get the kind of success that Blair Witch had but not using enough imagination to create a decent film.

Just because you have placed every single person that likes Twilight in the same stereotype just shows how you are another one of those ” I watch low budget films and know everything about cinema” If you want to watch a decent low budget film, check out Brassed Off or Clerks by Kevin Smith. Something with a imaginative script, incredible cast, and uses every penny to make quality films instead of running with a handheld camera and trying to get the audience to imagine what is going on. Then using lack of money as an excuse. By the way, you will win this argument as you cannot reason with stupidity!
I read many books, by the likes of Stephen King (master of horror and suspense) Mike Gayle (brilliant writer who simply writes about lives of people in there 20′s and 30′s, all people can relate to) Andy Mcnab (a person who has been to war and manages to capture it in his writing) Martina Cole (excellent gangster writer) I have never read a Stephanie Myer book, and dont intend to, as her writing is CONSTANTLEY slated and refered to as “immature”, someone who’s repuation is based on a series of films rather than her writing……
Ok, fair enough about my RP comment, I will rephrase it as “99% of the people that go to watch it, will watch it just for him” As for the actors, have I slated them above? No…..
As for the special effects, they are shit…….. I NEVER mentioned anything about budget. I LOVE films with small budgets, it goes to show that they have made the most of what little money they have to create a fantastic film (City Of God, Hard Candy, Martyrs, Inside just to name a few…….) However, the Twilight films NEED a high budget to create the fantasy that is being shown on the screen……….. As this is more of a “money making” franchise, it will not get the budget it needs, therefore, looks shit…………
At the end of the day, Twilight is a shitty waste of cinema, nothing new, doesnt have enough budget for what it wants to do, it sells itself on “sex” rather than story (because the books are crap) acting (I blame the direction) or anything else. It’s all shite…………
